The “Mediterranean Compost Network” (MCN) is a network of entities involved in biowaste management and treatment in the MED area promoting initiatives aimed at high quality biowaste management and fostering means of communication and interaction among target entities.

  • Promote the development of practical initiatives aimed at high quality biowaste management and compost use. That should include models based on any type of efficient biological treatment and the application of low-cost, low-tech solutions when possible
  • Foster means of communication and interaction among target entities
  • Encourage the commitment of authorities and key entities in favor of high quality biowaste management and compost use
  • Provide with support, relevant services, training and know-how sharing to implement high quality biowaste management and compost use.
